Welcome to the first newsletter from Gallery Plus in Wells |

We've had a busy first few weeks and so in this first newsletter we want
to thank everyone who has been along to support us ... and to invite
those that haven't had the chance to visit us to come along and see
what we're up to - we think you'll be suitably impressed! We've received an incredibly positive response - everyone has commented on the space, the light, the location and the way in which we've presented the gallery - which is unlike any other gallery in the area. We're really pleased that our aim to do something different seems to have caught people's imaginations and we believe that over time we will build a reputation as a gallery well worth re-visiting

| So what's new at Gallery Plus? ... | ||||||||||||
|
We
have a new range of handcrafted sculptural ceramics by
Nicola Wright - the ones shown
here are called "Willie Sculptures" - interpret that at your
leisure! And from 14th May we will be showing some work by Michael Papworth who is one of the studio printmakers at The Curwen Studio, Chilford Hall. We're delighted to have a great selection of his landscape lithographs We're also in the process of getting some really cool jewellery in the gallery ready for the summer season - so watch this space! Oh, and by the way, from June through to September, we're planning to be open seven days a week. |

| Coming up at Gallery Plus ... | ||||||||||||

Trev
is once again taking part in Norfolk Open Studios, but just a
reminder that this year it's from here in his new studio @ Gallery
Plus, rather than from Briston as in previous years We hope you'll come along ... it's a great opportunity to join him for a coffee and have chat about his work, his background, the weather and probably cars too! He has lots of work in progress and you can see the process he goes through, from drawing out a picture and on to the initial application of paint, right through to the final black lines and finishing touches |

Open
Studios runs from Saturday 16th to Sunday 31st May and Trev will be
