| It's a very busy summer here in Wells - lots and lots of people enjoying their summer hols on the "bootiful" North Norfolk Coast! | ||||||||||||

We are constantly updating and refreshing the gallery space and introducing new work and new artists. Terry Bestwick's paintings continue to be popular and we have some slightly smaller pieces especially for those who are fans of his work, but don't quite have the wall-space for his larger pieces, such as the 5ft square "Red" painting! |

| … during September we will be having a Showcase of work by internationally recognised artist Graham Clarke. | ||||||||||||
|
Graham is one of this country's most popular and best-selling printmakers. However, until we opened the gallery in April, he hadn't exhibited in Norfolk. Trevor’s family are originally from Kent, where Graham also hails from, and having followed him for many years it seemed perfectly fitting for us to exhibit his work. His humorous hand-coloured etchings, books and cards have already proved to be very popular. So this is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate his arrival to this stunning area with a Showcase of his work on our main feature wall. Graham takes pride in his view of himself as a "Man of Kent" and as such, life and art have always been interdependent, mutually sustaining activities. With the rapid technical developments in fine art reproduction used by so many others, he feels convinced that works produced entirely by hand using traditional processes have a splendid future. The scenes he depicts represent both for him and for his ever-widening audience, an idyll and a universal ideal. | The showcase will open at 10am on Saturday 5th September and will continue daily, from 10am-5pm Monday to Saturday and from 11am-4pm on Sundays, until Sunday 27th September. | ||||||||||||

couple of weeks ago we took on a new and upcoming locally-based artist,
Kate Royall, and her graphic
paintings have already been greatly admired and purchased. More
details can be found on her page of our website, just click the
image to the right. Trevor's paintings and prints continue to be very popular ... don't forget his studio at the gallery is open all year round, so do pop in for a coffee and a chat. |

We
will continue to be open seven days a week at least until the end of
Graham's Showcase. After that, there may be odd weeks when we are
closed on a Tuesday or a Wednesday, so it's probably best to give us
a call first, just to check we're here if you plan to visit on
