Ok, so it’s not quite spring, but all the snowy weather seems to be behind us, and besides we just couldn’t wait until the ‘official’ start of the season to tell you all of our exciting news! |
We’ve been very busy over the winter working on our new online shop and we’re delighted to let you know that it's up and running. |
| You can now browse and securely purchase a great range of the artwork, ceramics and jewellery that we exhibit ... particularly useful if you've visited the gallery and been tempted with something, but haven't purchased at the time, only to then get home and wish you'd gone for it! | ||||||||||||
| You'll also notice that Trevor's just added some new prints to his range! | ||||||||||||
As we mentioned in our last newsletter, we have three Major Exhibitions planned for this year and we can now give you all of the dates to put in your diary … |
The first is "Here and There" - Trevor’s exhibition to celebrate the first birthday of Gallery Plus. |
| Trevor's paintings are inspired by his interest in architecture and often reflect his passion for cars. People come and go too. Views usually depict North Norfolk and London, but scenes from his travels also provide a complete contrast. He finds endless inspiration in every-day life. | ||||||||||||
This exhibition will feature the showstopper "Lloyds and Gherkin, London" (AKA "Trevor's Big Gherkin"!) which, measuring 4' x 3', is Trevor's largest painting to date. |
Trevor's exhibition opens on Friday 9th April and continues until
Sunday 2nd May. |

We’re absolutely thrilled to be staging our next major show … “Moving Inland” – paintings (and other things) that celebrate the nature of Norfolk, by one of Norfolk’s most popular and well-known artists, Terry Bestwick. Many of you will already be familiar with his work, as we’ve successfully presented it in the gallery since we opened last year. The exhibition, which will feature really exciting new oil paintings, some on a very large scale, opens with a preview on Friday 9th July and continues until Sunday 1st August. |
From Friday 17th September to Sunday 10th October we have a print exhibition planned. This will consist of original prints by some of our most popular print artists, including Graham Clarke, Jason Clarke, Michael Papworth and Tim Wall, plus some new work not previously seen at Gallery Plus. (Talking of Graham Clarke … make sure you watch this space for something REALLY exciting happening towards the summer – we’ll keep you posted!) |
We will
send out invitations to all of the previews (which will include
drinks and nibbles!) a couple of weeks or so before each exhibition. Don't forget that in between our Major Exhibitions our ongoing exhibition will feature all of our gallery artists, so pop in and see what's new. |

Open Studios will soon be upon us. Trevor is taking part again, but this year he’s back at our Briston home and part of The Briston and Hunworth Art Trail. Invitations will be sent out in May, but in the meantime take a look at the group's website by clicking the image > |

Opening times at Gallery Plus are currently Wednesday to Saturday 10am-5pm and Sunday 11am-4pm. This will continue until the end of April, with the exception of the two-week Easter holiday, during which we’ll be open every day. We look forward to seeing you soon. |
