Nicola is a young modern artist specialising in sculptural ceramics.

She gained a degree in ceramics from Westminster University and is currently working as a ceramic specialist at Guildford Girls' Independent School.

Her work consists of slab built forms based on the flexibility and movement within the human body. She pushes the extremes of the clay to achieve a delicate balance between movement , strength and stability. Her unique glazes are intrinsic to the form created and are considered throughout the design process, thus enhancing the finished tactile piece .

All of her work is handcrafted by herself.
