Simon was born in 1972 and lives in south Norfolk. He gained a BA Hons in Fine Art (1991 - 1995) at University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne and a PGCE (1999) at the Institute of Education, University of London
His exhibitions include: Summer Exhibition, Royal Academy, London (2008, 2009); Cork Street Open, London (2008, 2009); FringeMK Painting Prize, Milton Keynes (2009); Eastern Open, Kings Lynn Arts Centre (2009); The Painting Room, Transition Gallery, London (2008); Artsway Open 07, New Forest, Hampshire (2007); The Discerning Eye, Mall Galleries, London (2007) and Spirit of the Age, Salthouse 07, Norfolk (2007)
He was a 1st Prize Winner at the Cork Street Open 08 and was shortlisted for the Artsway Open 07 and the Celeste Art Prize 07. In 1993 he won the John Bell Simpson Prize for Painting (University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne)
Simon's work has been featured in the Saatchi Online Magazine, Rebecca Wilson's Top Ten (August); Cork Street Open 2008; RA Summer Exhibition Illustrated 2008; The Discerning Eye 07 and Celeste Art Prize 07 and he has just had a piece accepted for the 2009 RA Summer Exhibition
